MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR

• Responsible for creating syllabi, developing course materials, delivering lectures, facilitating discussions, and evaluating student learning.
• Contribute to the development and revision of the department's curriculum. Participates in curriculum committees, or update existing courses to incorporate advancements in the field and meet program requirements.
• Provides academic guidance and mentorship to students. They assist students navigate degree requirements, offer career advice, and provide support in academic and personal matters.
• Engages in research, scholarly activities, or creative work within their disciplines. This may involve conducting research studies, publishing scholarly articles or books, presenting at conferences, or participating in artistic exhibitions.
• Serves on various committees within the department or at the institutional level. This may involve participating in curriculum committees, accreditation committees, or other departmental or institutional committees.
• Engages in continuous professional development activities to stay current in their fields. This can include attending conferences, workshops, or seminars, pursuing advanced degrees, or participating in professional organizations.
• Engages with the local community or professional organizations to foster collaborations, share expertise, or contribute to community development. This can involve providing workshops, offering consulting services, or serving as a resource for community partners.
• Contributes to the overall functioning of the department by actively participating in departmental meetings, faculty governance, and departmental initiatives. They may also be involved in assessing and improving the department's programs and policies.
• Participates in institutional service by contributing to the development of institutional policies and procedures.Participating in recruitment and marketing initiatives to promote the programs offered by the institution, representing the program at educational events, and providing information to prospective students.
