Job Description

  • Assists the Examining Physician during conduct of physical examination
  •  Assists the Examining Physician in interviewing patients regarding his/her medical history
  • Takes the patient’s/applicants Vital Signs and anthropometric measurements/readings
  • Conducts ECG examination
  • Forwards the ECG tracing to the Cardiologist for reading/interpretation
  • Implements ECG maintenance activities
  • Ensures the calibration of measuring devices
  • Request supplies needed by the unit
  • Participates in educational in-services and seminars for health care providers and maintains current certification through continuing education.
  • Oversees the maintenance and cleanliness of the PE section
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a registered nurse
  • 2 years working experience in medical clinics or hospitals is preferable.
