ROLE: CHIEF LENDING OFFICER

Scope of Work:
  • Define and lead the overall lending strategy aligned with the Bank’s digital-first model and growth targets.
  • Oversee development of new lending products and digital credit experiences tailored to various customer segments.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and risks in the lending landscape including unsecured and secured segments.
  • Oversee loan origination, approval, and collections with strong risk governance.
  • Promote seamless digital experiences with embedded credit offerings and decision engines.
  • Monitor lending portfolio performance metrics.
  • Forecast and manage credit provisioning, capital allocation, profitability of loan products.
  • Lead, develop, and manage the Lending Business and
  • Lending Strategy teams and build the Lending organization as a high-performing team aligned with the Bank’s One UD culture.
  • Ensure lending practices comply with local financial regulations, consumer protection laws, AML, data privacy, and other relevant regulatory requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in banking or financial services with at least 5 years in a senior lending or credit leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of credit analysis, loan structuring, and portfolio management.
  • Proven track record in digital lending, automation, and fintech collaboration.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., BSP regulations, AMLC policies).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
