Position: Chief Investor Relations Officer and Chief Risk Management Officer
Job Description:
The Chief Investor Relations Officer and Chief Risk Management Officer leads both investor relations and risk management to safeguard the company’s reputation, financial integrity, and long-term value. This role involves directing communications with the investment community while also identifying and mitigating internal and external risks that could impact organizational success. The role ensures transparency, compliance, and accountability, aligning both risk and investor strategies with corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an integrated investor relations and risk management strategy in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Serve as the key liaison for investors, analysts, and other financial stakeholders, maintaining strong, transparent relationships.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across operational, financial, legal, strategic, and reputational domains.
- Conduct risk assessments and internal audits; monitor key risk indicators and ensure effective mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and deliver investor communications, quarterly earnings call materials, and strategic financial updates.
- Monitor financial trends, industry dynamics, shareholder concerns, and competitor behavior to inform proactive strategy.
- Ensure regulatory compliance in both investor disclosures and enterprise risk practices, in partnership with legal counsel.
- Support incident response and crisis management planning, ensuring business continuity.
- Provide strategic insights and risk reports to senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
- Promote a culture of accountability and risk awareness through training, workshops, and internal engagement.
