The Financial Modeling Specialist is responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining
complex financial models to support the organization’s decision-making process. This role
involves forecasting, budgeting, and conducting detailed financial analysis to provide insights
for strategic planning and business initiatives. The specialist ensures the accuracy and
relevance of financial models to aid in capital allocation, project evaluation, and performance
monitoring.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and project
evaluation.
2. Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess the impact of various factors on
financial outcomes.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and inputs for financial modeling
purposes.
4. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support
decision-making.
5. Prepare presentations and reports for management, summarizing financial model
results and business implications.
6. Ensure that financial models comply with relevant standards and best practices.
7. Monitor key financial metrics, identify trends, and suggest improvements to financial
strategies.
8. Support in capital budgeting, investment analysis, and risk assessment.
9. Update financial models regularly to reflect changes in assumptions or business
conditions.
10. Assist in training other team members on financial modeling techniques and tools.
11. Performs other duties/tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
