1. Supervises the activities of the Comptrollership Department which includes Accounting, Cost Control, Inventory Management, Treasury, and Computer Systems.
2. Prepares financial reports in accordance with the generally accepted accounting principles and uniform system of accounts established by the company policies.
3. Submits timely and accurate financial reports and tax returns, including but not limited to income statement with supporting schedules and balance sheet with supporting schedules.
4. Checks whether all expenditures are properly authorized and accounted for.
5. Checks that all subsidiary record for inventories, account receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and other major accounts are reconciled regularly.
6. Verifies all vouchers and checks to make sure that expenditures are properly documented and charged to proper accounts.
7. Reviews all journal vouchers, purchase requisition, purchase order, and other procurement and inventory control documents.
8. Checks all cash receipts, cash disbursement and the cash sales are properly recorded in the general book of accounts.
9. Prepares monthly bank reconciliation for all the bank accounts.
10. Check daily cash position requirement from the Treasury.
11. Monitors and supervises the preparation of all schedules required by external auditors.
12. Perform related tasked that may be assigned by the General Manager and President.
