Job description
  1. Assure/Check accuracy of sample preparation for testing using prescribed standards and specifications
  2. Check/verify standards and reagents required for the analysis in accordance with prescribed test methods
  3. Performs the required chemical and physical analyses according to specified methods and procedures to produce accurate, timely and relevant test results
  4. Performs maintenance, verification and monitoring of assigned equipment
  5. Ensures systematic workflow by regular and proper timing of laboratory test in order of priority.
  6. Safeguard the confidentiality of test results and procedure of customers
  7. Check inventory report of Lab Operations Assistant to ensure proper and cost effective inventory of laboratory chemicals and supplies in order to ensure timely delivery in test results.
  8. Strictly implements and conform in the established laboratory quality system based on PNS ISO/IEC 17025:2005, as well as on other accrediting government and private institutions.
  9. Implements and conforms in systems, procedures and guidelines on Quality, Health, Safety and Environment, including proper management disposal of laboratory wastes and of chemical storage.
  10. Observes protocol on corrective and preventive measures for non-conforming activities/practices.
  11. Actively participates in Proficiency Testing and other Quality Assurance programs of the laboratory, including method verification and validation as required.

Qualifications/Requirements

  1. Graduate of BS CHEMISTRY / CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY
  2. Preferably Licensed Chemist
  3. Willing to work in Laboratory area
  4. With or Without relevant work experience
  5. Willing to work in CIP 1, Canlubang Laguna
  6. Can start immediately
