Job Description

He/she will assist Sous Chef in managing the kitchen operations and assumes full responsibility in the absence of the Sous Chef. He/ She is responsible for planning, controlling, and directing food preparation in the kitchen which involves supervising kitchen staff and assisting in attaining the team's work productivity and organization in the food production area. Responsible for managing cost standards associated with each menu item, and inventory of food supplies and ensuring efficient operations compliant with health and Food Safety Management System/Standards (FSMS).

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's Degree holder of any field and/or with Associate Degree holder of Culinary Education
At least two (2) years of work experience as a Chef de Partie in a Food Service/Hotel/Restaurant set-up.
Must have undergone training in food safety, institutional food preparation or equivalent demonstrable knowledge and skills.
Excellent verbal, and writing communication skills, computer literate in window-based applications; knowledgeable in food quantification, costing, and food safety.
Proficiency in culinary skills
Ability to relate well with associates at all levels
Pleasing personality, well groomed, focused, meticulous, detailed­ oriented, strong work ethics, self-motivated, high professional maturity level, open-minded, a team player, committed and dedicated to Araw Hospitality Group goals, highly dependable, multi-task oriented and high self-esteem
