Branch Service Associate or Branch Service Assistant
Job Summary : Responsible for the entire day-to-day operational aspects of the branch. Primarily handles collections and company funds, signs checks within authority limit, acts as custodian of company properties, policy servicing and attends to policyholder's needs, timely submits needed reports at the Head Office, coordinates the activity of the Branch Manager and assists to the needs of the agents, co-represents the company to Dep Ed Regional Office and other government entities and performs and observes proper maintenance and upkeep of the branch office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Accepts payment and issues official receipts
Handles operating fund and petty cash fund
Handles branch communications
Safekeeps the checks issued by the Head Office
Encodes and transmits submitted applications to the Head Office
Grants financing for Dep Ed accounts
Mails applications and other documents for distribution to Head Office
Replenishes operating fund and sends through mail hard copy of the Daily Collection Report
Submits inventory of checks prepared at the Head Office
Prepares transmittal of unclaimed checks
Acts as the company representative to Dep Ed Regional Office
Prepares inventory of fixed assets and acts as the custodian of company properties
Prints proposals and commission analysis as requested by the agents
Monitor agent's promissory notes for cash advances
Monitors handling of provisional receipts
Processing of Business Permits
Coordinates with various departments in the daily operations of the branch
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
