RESTAURANT CASHIER
The Cashier is responsible for managing cashier duties and providing administrative support. This includes handling transactions, maintaining cash drawers, and ensuring excellent customer service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greeting Customers: Welcome customers in a friendly manner.
Processing Transactions: Accurately process orders and payments.
Cash Handling: Count cash drawers for accuracy.
Order Accuracy: Ensure orders are entered correctly and customers receive the right items.
Providing Receipts: Issue receipts to customers.
Addressing Inquiries: Answer customer questions.
Upselling: Recommend additional items to increase sales.
Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the cashier area tidy.
Assisting with Takeout Orders: Prepare and package takeout orders.
Closing Procedures: Assist with cash drawer reconciliation and closing tasks.
