A carpenter is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials. Working with little supervision while following all
health and safety standards is essential.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saw
  • Installing formworks or Beam, Slab Columns, Shearwall etc.
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Verify trueness ofstructure, using plumb bob and level
  • Assemble and fasten materials to make framework or props, using hand tools and woodscrews, nails, dowel pins, or glue
  • Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above/below ground level
  • Construct forms and chutes for pouring concrete
  • Reporting to the leadman of carpenter
