TECHNICAL CONSULTANT


Job Summary:

The Technical Consultant is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.


Job Description:

  • Planning the proper system needs of a company
  • Installing the appropriate systems
  • Providing support for the systems throughout the working day
  • Solving problems connected to the network and the systems
  • Monitoring the network efficiency
  • Resolving client issues
  • Testing products and applications
  • Documenting processes and application instructions
  • Supporting and troubleshooting software issues
  • Generating innovative ideas
  • Liaison with the website hosting provider if necessary
  • Applying patches and updates
  • Identifying the needs of the company and assessing whether they are being met by the current system
  • Planning security measures
  • Implementing security measures


Qualifications/Requirements

Job Qualifications:

  • Knows Windows Server/Linux Server
  • Basic system admin skills and basic network admin skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • A technical mind
  • An organized mind
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical and quantitative skills
  • In-depth knowledge of computer systems
  • Ability to describe technical information in easy-to-understand terms
  • Good communication skills
  • Discretion (since confidential data is held on computer systems)
  • Bachelor's/College Grad preferably Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any related field
  • Willing to work with shifting schedules
  • With experience is a plus
  • Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
