Job Description
• Identifying business -critical defects in various business process and take necessary actions.
• Analyzing business requirements and drafting test plans within timeline.
• Managing defect tracking, which includes identification, logging, retesting and closure.
• Drafting Test plan documents by outlining test strategy, assumptions, scope and timeline.
• Coordinating with Offshore and Onsite team members for daily status and Risk assessment.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends, as needed.
• Engaging in Automation functional execution tasks and participating in automation release regression execution; Applying project management skills.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of testing scenarios and can present it to clients.
• Acts as a mentor and guide for the offshore team for their requirements.
• Conduct research to identify areas where manual intervention is prevalent and recommend to the automation team the development of tools to reduce manual effort while maintain high accuracy.
• Participation in production validation on variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Display in-depth knowledge of, and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills. Present and defends architectural, design and technical choices to internal audiences.
• Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance or completeness or to mitigate risks.
• Develop testing programs that address areas such as database, impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retesting, or usability.
