Job Description

  • Responsible for preparing, cutting, packaging, and selling meat products to customers in a retail meat shop. This role involves providing excellent customer service, ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The Butcher/Sales Clerk must have expertise in meat cutting, product knowledge, and customer interaction, while adhering to health and safety regulations

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a butcher or in a meat processing environment is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of meat cutting, preparation, and handling.
  • Ability to use various tools, including knives, meat slicers, and saws, safely and efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift heavy meat cuts and stand for extended periods.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation, and hygiene practices.
  • Cash handling experience is a plus.
  • Willing to be assigned in Mandaue City area (The Pork Shop stores outlet)

Preferred Skills:


  • Certification or training in butchery or food safety (e.g., HACCP, ServSafe).
  • Experience in retail or sales, particularly in a food-related environment.
  • Knowledge of various cuts of meat
