GENERAL MANAGER – TRANSITION MANAGEMENT OFFICE

Job Description: Omega Healthcare Management Services Inc. is seeking a seasoned and strategic leader to serve as General Manager – Transition Management Office (TMO). This pivotal role will lead the Transition Management Office, ensuring the seamless integration of new client processes into the organization while maintaining service excellence and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will bring a proven track record in managing complex transitions within the healthcare BPO sector.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Oversight: Lead the Transition Management Office, managing all transition projects from initiation through stabilization.
  • Framework Development: Design and implement robust transition frameworks, governance models, and best practices tailored to healthcare BPO operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, IT, HR, Compliance, and Client Services to ensure smooth and successful transitions.
  • Client Engagement: Manage client expectations and maintain strong stakeholder relationships throughout the transition lifecycle.
  • Project Management: Monitor project timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance transition efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop the TMO team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and strategic insights to executive leadership on transition progress and outcomes.

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualification (Education, Experience, Professional License, Skills Certification, Specialized Training):

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 12 years in transition/project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Industry Expertise: Proven experience in managing large-scale transitions in a healthcare BPO or similar environment.

Skills: 

  • Strong understanding of healthcare processes and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST)
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to execution.

Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
