Toyota Motor Philippines is looking for Franchise Development Officer to join our Dealer Development Department based in Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
In this role, you are expected to be a domain expert in project management, market research, presentation, and technical writing.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
1. Creation of Franchise-Related Policies
- Develop, review, and update comprehensive policies and procedures that govern the operations, rights, and obligations of Toyota franchisees.
- Ensure all policies are aligned with Toyota's brand standards, legal requirements, and corporate strategic goals.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operations teams to establish consistent frameworks for franchise agreements, performance metrics, renewal processes, and dispute resolution.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to continuously enhance franchise policies and maintain competitive advantage.
2. Development of Dealer Facility Concepts
- Design and refine standard dealer facility blueprints and layouts to optimize customer experience, brand visibility, and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with architects, project managers, and regional teams to implement Toyotas global dealership image programs (e.g., Toyota Retail Concept or "Image II").
- Ensure that facilities reflect Toyota's core values, such as quality, sustainability, and innovation.
- Introduce scalable and adaptable facility models suitable for different market segments and geographies.
3. Site Selection of Appointed Areas
- Conduct feasibility studies and strategic evaluations for proposed dealership locations, factoring in demographic data, traffic patterns, competition, and accessibility.
- Coordinate with regional planners and real estate consultants to identify high-potential sites for new dealerships or relocations.
- Facilitate site approval processes in alignment with Toyotas market penetration and brand visibility strategies.
- Support franchisees in acquiring and developing suitable properties by providing data-driven recommendations and site validation support.
4. Market Research of Toyota Expansion
- Lead in-depth market research and data analysis to identify opportunities for Toyotas geographic and demographic expansion.
- Evaluate local market dynamics, vehicle ownership trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform development strategy.
- Produce actionable insights and forecasts to support territory planning, dealership network optimization, and growth initiatives.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership for new franchise appointments or area development strategies.
