Job Summary:
The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities, merchant accounts, franchisees, and partnerships for iPROCESS. The role involves fieldwork, strategic outreach, relationship management, and meeting daily onboarding quotas for fintech services such as QRPH, ECPay, RCBC ATMGo, and VeritasPay.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
Identify prospective clients and partners through fieldwork, referrals, and business directories.
Conduct area saturation for QRPH merchant acquisition and franchise promotion.
Achieve assigned quotas for daily, weekly, and monthly merchant onboarding (e.g., 30 QRPH per day, 5 VeritasPay per month).
2. Merchant & Franchise Onboarding
Present iPROCESS services and franchise offerings professionally.
Assist new merchants in the completion of documents and KYC requirements.
Coordinate with the onboarding team and compliance for account approval and activation.
3. Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with onboarded merchants and franchisees to ensure retention and upsell opportunities.
Provide after-sales support and liaise with the operations and customer service departments.
4. Reporting & Documentation
Submit daily accomplishment reports detailing leads contacted, merchants onboarded, and franchise inquiries.
Maintain accurate records of client communications and prospecting activities.
5. Market Research
Monitor competitor activities and report market trends that may affect the company’s services or opportunities.
Recommend new areas for expansion and potential business tie-ups.
6. Cross-functional Coordination
Collaborate with marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of partnerships and merchant activations.
Participate in training, marketing caravans, and business expos as needed.
