The Business Development Officer will focus on recruiting students from regions in India with lower English proficiency, such as rural areas in Uttar Pradesh & Bihar – Large population with a strong focus on Hindi and regional languages, and parts of the Northeast.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Expansion & Strategy
• Develop and execute strategies to attract students from non-English-speaking regions in India.
• Identify and establish partnerships with educational agents, schools, universities, and language training centers in target states.
• Conduct market research to understand student preferences and barriers to learning English.
Student Support & Welfare
• Assist Indian students with onboarding, registration, and orientation.
• Act as a liaison between students and school management to address concerns and needs.
• Help students adapt to local culture, lifestyle, and school policies.
• Provide translation support (Hindi/English) when needed.
Student Recruitment & Promotions
• Promote ESL programs through online campaigns, social media, and local education fairs in India.
• Build a strong network with parents, schools, coaching centers, and local influencers to encourage student enrollment.
Administrative & Documentation Support
• Assist in processing student visas, travel documents, and other required paperwork.
• Compute meals for students and create a request for budgeting in the WorkDo system
• Coordinate with the admissions and finance teams for fee payments and student accounts.
• Assist in resolving any issues related to dormitory food, or academic concerns.
• Provide regular updates and feedback to school management about student concerns.
