About the role:
The Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) is a senior executive responsible for setting the innovation vision and executing strategic initiatives that position Boomering at the forefront of operational excellence and technological transformation. This role is focused on leading the company’s AI integration, digital modernization, and innovation culture, ensuring that Boomering remains agile, scalable, and competitive in the evolving BPO landscape.
The CIO acts as the primary architect of innovation, aligning technology with business needs, enabling intelligent automation, and unlocking data-driven decision-making. The role also serves as a catalyst for change, working across teams to reimagine how Boomering delivers value to clients, supports its people, and scales its impact.
While the CIO may contribute to brand building and market-facing visibility, these are supporting functions. The core mission is to lead Boomering’s journey into the future through smart, strategic, and human-centered innovation.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Innovation Strategy & Leadership
• Design and lead Boomering’s enterprise innovation roadmap, with an emphasis on AI-powered transformation, intelligent process automation, and scalable tech adoption.
• Translate executive vision into a living innovation strategy, complete with goals, timelines, benchmarks, and impact metrics.
• Champion innovation that balances cutting-edge technology with real-world operational value.
2. AI & Technology Enablement
• Identify, pilot, and implement AI-driven tools and platforms across core business units i.e. sales, marketing, recruitment, HR, etc.
• Assess ROI, manage implementation cycles, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
• Lead AI risk management efforts, focusing on ethical use, transparency, and data governance.
3. Process Transformation & Digital Optimization
• Conduct organizational process mapping to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and opportunities for tech-driven redesign.
• Collaborate with department heads to implement practical, scalable digital solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and employee satisfaction.
• Promote a mindset of experimentation and continuous improvement at all levels of the organization.
4. Culture of Innovation
• Establish Boomering as an innovation-forward organization by facilitating internal campaigns, sprints, workshops, and ideation sessions.
• Build digital fluency across teams through capability-building programs and AI literacy training.
• Encourage safe experimentation and celebrate learning from pilot programs.
5. Data Intelligence & Decision Support
• Oversee the development of centralized data systems and business intelligence dashboards.
• Ensure that decision-makers have access to timely, meaningful insights through automation and data visualization.
• Drive maturity in data practices, from collection and storage to interpretation and application.
6. External Ecosystem & Strategic Visibility (Support Function)
• Represent Boomering in key innovation circles i.e. conferences, forums, thought leadership campaigns, and client-facing events.
• Support marketing and sales in framing Boomering’s innovation narrative, when required, especially in client acquisition or strategic pitch settings.
