Job description
  1. Prepare financial models of power projects to support the Department's decisions regarding pricing, scenario analysis, and capital structures
  2. Run sensitivities and scenarios based on capacity, costs, revenue,e, and other applicable assumptions
  3. Model tax equity, equity, and debt to optimize capital structure
  4. Evaluate and analyze project financing proposals to identify the ideal financing arrangement or structure for the Company's power projects
  5. Participate in meeting discussions with internal and external partners to understand regulations and tax treatments
  6. Apply advanced principles of finance to analyze financial and non-financial information
  7. Prepare external financial management reporting Interpret financial data to assist management with strategic decisions
  8. Identify and secure potential off-takers for power projects, until the financial execution of the relevant off-take contracts
  9. Assist in preparing energy price estimates, forecasts, and trends based on Market Research
  10. Assist in market studies for power projects, particularly in supply and demand forecasting
  11. Assist in developing business opportunities, project partnerships, and/or investments based on the Company's business development requirements

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months (subject to extension or renewal)
Pay: Php44,000.00 - Php65,000.00 per month

Qualifications/Requirements

Qualifications:
1. Candidate must have a degree in accounting, business, economics or finance CPA or CFA is an advantage
2. Must have 2 years of work experience in Power Generation
3. Good understanding of laws, rules, and regulations pertinent to the power industry
4. Knowledge of marketing studies/forecasts, strategies and techniques
5. Strong aptitude in profitability assessment, budgets, and financial models
6. More than 1 year of experience in financial modeling, and project finance transactions, preferably in the power generation sector
7. Strong understanding and experience in finance modeling tax equity
8. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
9. Track record in negotiating with customers
10. Adept in marketing strategies and techniques
11. Willing to work in Makati Head Office and travel to project sites
