About the role
As a Bookkeeper VA, you are tasked with helping with billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, and collections. You will also be given general administrative responsibilities to help your client. You are expected to have sufficient experience in using Quickbooks Desktop.

Responsibilities:
  • Recording financial transactions using Quickbooks.
  • Maintaining the company’s general ledger.
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Provide support in other areas, especially with administrative responsibilities.
  • Support with other financial activities as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • At least 2 years experience as a bookkeeper.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience providing bookkeeping services to offshore or US clients highly preferred.
  • Experience as a virtual assistant a plus but not requAt least 1 year of experience using Quickbooks Desktop
