• Champion a culture of innovation across departments by promoting cross-functional ideation and agile experimentation;
• Identify, evaluate, and lead strategic partnerships, including licensing, acquisitions, and co-development agreements to expand the product portfolio and strengthen market presence;
• Build and nurture relationships with biotechnology startups, academic institutions, investment firms, and strategic partners to advance business development goals;
• Oversee due diligence, deal structuring, negotiations, and integration of new business opportunities, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements;
• Monitor global pharmaceutical market dynamics, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to support informed strategic decision-making;
• Develop robust business cases and ROI models for innovative product opportunities, delivering actionable insights to guide portfolio strategy and resource allocation;
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Finance, and Marketing to ensure alignment on innovation and business development initiatives;
• Serve as a strategic advisor to the SVP on external opportunities and innovation trends, and represent the company at industry events, forums, and strategic summits as needed;
• Oversee the commercialization of new products through structured project management, performance monitoring, and timely execution of key milestones;
• Anticipate potential delays in execution, proactively implement adjustments, and ensure internal stakeholders are informed of progress within 24 hours of key developments; and
• Maintain and regularly update the innovation pipeline, including launch timelines, value projections, and risk mitigation plans aligned with evolving market and regulatory conditions.
