Job Description

  • Ensure the medical equipment is well-maintained, properly configured, and safely functional.
  • Install, inspect, maintain, repair, calibrate biomedical equipment and support systems to adhere to medical standard guidelines.
  • Educate, train, and advise end-users or laboratory staff and other agencies on the theory of operation, physiological principles, and safe clinical application of biomedical equipment maintaining the facility's patient care and medical staff equipment.
  • Perform the official part in the daily management and problem solving of healthcare technology beyond repairs and scheduled maintenance; such as designing interfaces and integrating medical system, training end-users to utilize medical technology, and evaluating new devices for acquisition.
  • Provide service reports and Turn Around Time (TAT) reports on servicing.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) NC II
  • Pleasing Personality
  • Good communication skills
  • Technically proficient in computer and mobile phone (smart/ios phone)
  • Willing to be trained for 1 month
  • Willing to be assigned anywhere in the Philippines
  • Willing to travel from place to place
  • Can work under pressure
