Job Description

The Male Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a courteous, efficient, and professional manner. He ensures the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and complies with all safety and sanitation standards. The bartender also engages with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and enhance their overall experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Prepare and serve beverages according to standard recipes.
2.Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
3.Check guest identification to ensure legal drinking age.
4.Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bar area.
5.Restock bar inventory and supplies as needed.
6.Handle cash and operate the POS system for orders and payments.
7.Monitor guest behavior and manage intoxicated guests as per hotel policy.
8.Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food and beverage handling.
9.Assist in opening and closing duties of the bar.
10.Support other team members in delivering quality service when needed.


Qualifications/Requirements

Education and Training:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Bartending training or certification (preferred but not required).

Experience:

At least 1 year of experience as a bartender in a hotel, bar, or restaurant setting.
Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.

Skills and Competencies:

Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good memory for recipes and customer preferences.
Knowledge of sanitation and safety standards.
Basic math skills for handling cash and processing orders.
Multitasking and time-management abilities.

Personal Attributes:

Presentable and well-groomed appearance.
Fiendly, energetic, and team-oriented.
Responsible and honest.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Other Requirements:

Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
