Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance on company vehicles, including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and other preventive measures.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Perform repairs on various vehicle systems, such as engines, transmissions, braking systems, and air conditioning units.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance work comply with safety and manufacturer standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
  • Monitor vehicle performance to identify potential issues and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules to prevent vehicle downtime.
  • Collaborate with drivers and fleet managers to address vehicle concerns promptly.
  • Order and maintain an inventory of automotive parts and supplies as needed.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Vocational/Technical Certification in Automotive Technology or a related field

Experience:

    • At least 1 year of hands-on experience as an Automotive Mechanic, preferably with experience maintaining company or fleet vehicles.

    Technical Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in vehicles.
    • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and hand tools.
    • Ability to read and understand vehicle repair manuals and schematics.
