Observe all policies, rules, and regulations of the company
Plan work procedures, using charts, technical manuals, and experience
Test parts and systems to ensure that they work properly
Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined
Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires
Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
Conduct regular inspection for all company vehicles
Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise drivers on good vehicle use
Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
Keep logs on work orders and issues
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
Explain automotive problems and repairs to drivers, team leaders, department head & managers
Report any issues to the Administrative Officer.
Perform any other task assigned by the management.
