Job Description

Major Function 1
Equipment Operation
Stationed: Setup, operates and setdown of assigned AVL equipment (audio, video, lights) at the specified calltime and event time
Roving: Setup, on stand-by, setdown of AVL equipment for events that only requires roving AVL assistance
- Ensures that setup and operation of assigned AVL equipment is based on AVL SOPs, event program, and Event Services and
event organizer’s instructions
- Communicate and coordinate all important information that might hamper the event to AVL staff, team leader, event organizer and
fellow AVL personnel
- Reporting of any incident and/or challenges encountered before, during and after event to AVL staff, team leader, event organizer
and fellow AVL personnel
Major Function 2
Equipment monitoring and custody
- Ensures that all assigned equipment, tools and stocks in the assigned posting is complete and in good working condition before
leaving the post
- Ensures that all used equipment will be switched off properly, and returned to it’s proper location/storage every after use
- Document in the logbook any malfunction, glitch and failure of any AVL equipment/systems
- Document in the logbook any borrowed equipment/tools and used stocks
Major Function 3
Equipment inventory, maintenance and repair
- Perform assigned inventory, maintenance and repair activities on agreed schedule

Qualifications/Requirements

Education & Experience:
- At least a vocational diploma, certificate, or associate degree in Electronics, Audio Engineering, or related technical field.
-1–3 years of experience in operating and maintaining audio, video, and/or lighting systems.
-Experience in live events, broadcasting, theater, or houses of worship is a strong plus.
Technical Skills:
-Proficient in using digital and analog audio consoles (e.g., Behringer X32, Yamaha, etc.).
-Familiar with video switchers, projectors, LED walls, and camera systems.
-Knowledge of stage lighting systems, DMX programming, and lighting control software.
-Ability to troubleshoot signal flow for audio, video, and lighting.
-Skilled in equipment setup, calibration, and cable management.
Soft Skills:
-Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
-Ability to work under pressure during live events.
-Good communication and teamwork skills.
