Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Technical Services, Contracts, Budget, and Control to join our leadership team. This role is responsible for overseeing technical services, contract administration, budgeting, and cost control to ensure efficient project execution and financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Technical Services Management
Oversee and optimize engineering and technical services to support project execution.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Provide technical guidance and solutions for project challenges.
✅ Contracts Administration
Lead contract negotiations, review, and administration to safeguard the company's interests.
Ensure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Manage contract documentation, amendments, and claims to minimize risks.
✅ Budget and Cost Control
Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets to ensure cost efficiency.
Establish financial controls to track expenditures and optimize resource allocation.
Analyze financial reports and provide recommendations for budget adjustments.
✅ Risk Management and Compliance
Identify financial and contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure adherence to corporate policies, industry regulations, and government requirements.
✅ Leadership and Collaboration
Work closely with senior management, project teams, and external stakeholders.
Lead and mentor teams in contracts, budgeting, and technical services.
Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications/Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
-Licensed Civil Engineer (preferred) with a strong background in construction, project management, and cost control.
-Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical services, contracts management, budgeting, and cost control, preferably in the construction or engineering industry.
-Strong understanding of contract law, budgeting principles, and project cost management.
-Excellent leadership, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-Proficiency in budgeting software, contract management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
