ASSISTANT MANAGER SAP
What we’re looking for
We are looking for a talented Assistant Manager - SAP to join our team in Abu Dhabi, reporting to the Head of our Abu Dhabi Plant.
As the Assistant Manager - SAP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient utilization of SAP systems within our steel manufacturing plant. Working closely with the IT and operations teams, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and continuously improving our SAP environment to support our production and business objectives.
Role Responsibilities:
SAP System Maintenance: Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of SAP systems, ensuring system availability, performance, and data integrity.
Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within SAP, streamlining workflows, and enhancing efficiency.
User Support: Provide technical support and training to SAP users, helping them navigate and utilize the system effectively.
Data Management: Manage SAP data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
Integration: Work on SAP integration projects, including interfacing with other systems and modules, to enhance data flow and business process automation.
Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain SAP reports and dashboards to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security measures and compliance standards to protect data and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
Upgrades and Enhancements: Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute SAP upgrades and enhancements, keeping the system up-to-date with the latest features and technologies.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP configurations, customizations, and procedures.
Vendor Relations: Liaise with SAP vendors and service providers to ensure timely support and resolution of issues.
Key Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
Proven experience with SAP systems administration and configuration in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of SAP modules relevant to manufacturing, such as SAP MM, PP, or SD.
Experience with SAP HANA and S/4HANA is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Project management experience is a plus.
SAP certification is desirable.
