ARTIFICIAL LIMB AND BRACE MAKER III
JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Shapes and fits together into finished prosthetic arms and legs, or orthopedic appliances such as splints, braces, supports, and frames
2. Uses power drills, welding machines, sewingmachines, and other similar equipment.
3. Cuts wood, metal, and leather parts according to measurements, patterns, and instructions furnished by the supervisor
4. Makes corrections and adjustments to ensure perfect fit.
5. Monitors and recommends the proper use, maintenance, inventory and upgrading of Orthotics and Prosthetics equipment, supplies, and materials
6. Submits completed reports and other related documentation on time.
7. Complies with relevant and timely changes in department Systems and Processes.
8. Attends to trainings, seminars, and program development activities aligned or related to one’s assignment as Artificial Limb and Brace Maker.
9. Participates in preparing plans, programs, and project proposals relevant to Orthotics and Prosthetics.
10. Perform other rehab related non-clinical tasks, as required by the staff, vital to the function of the department.
