Job Description

Your Team:
Your role reports directly to the Senior VP of Retail Sales. You will lead the area sales teams and sales office team in our Cebu locations (Magallanes and Mandaue) providing clear-cut directions in their retail sales activities.

What Success Looks Like:
You develop and implement innovative strategies to meet and/or exceed sales goals and targets. You take full ownership in delivering profitable sales growth and ensuring that all relevant marketing opportunities under your accounts are maximized. You are an expert on the company’s portfolio of products and services, enabling you to guide and provide recommendations to customers on their needs. You maintain a positive business relationship with key retail customers and are up to date with competitors and their activities. You coach and develop a dynamic and self-directed team to maintain a passion for high-standard performance and achievement.

Qualifications/Requirements

Responsibilities:
  • You will be responsible for driving brand awareness and preference among retail customers while capitalizing on market opportunities (e.g. new retail product lines, etc.) for the business to sustain a competitive advantage in the market..
  • Achieve sales targets and translate organizational goals and strategy into clear divisional plans and strategic initiatives for execution across teams
  • Proactively pursue new businesses and sales opportunities via marketing and promotional campaigns, product demonstrations, etc.
  • Understand trends and recommend new products to add to the current retail portfolio
  • Negotiate and establish procurement policies for customer accounts
  • Provide guidance for your team on account strategies, negotiations, and other essential skills to develop customer engagement and satisfaction
  • Foster opportunities for individual dialogues and team discussions relating to sales issues, concerns, and updates
  • Engage with the Senior VP of Retail Sales and executive team (if needed) to advocate retail sales needs and ensure prompt resolution of issues

Requirements and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Area Manager , Sales Manager or any relevant managerial position leading a diverse field sales team.
  • Preferably with experience in the construction industry or solid experience in any industry with a focus on managing customer accounts.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and motivation skills.
