Job Description

  • Closely work with Management and Customer Service Team in development and implementation of sales plans and strategies
  • Identify and prospect new business/ clients via cold-calling and sales activities
  • Build and develop strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Conduct regular visits and follow-ups with clients to encourage up-selling and retention
  • Involves in preparing concrete action plans for the Sales Team for effective and proactive search of sales leads and prospects
  • Proactively equip oneself with information on trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new service offerings
  • Regularly coordinates with internal teams i.e. Operations, Customer Service and Finance Team, to ensure that accurate records of all pricings, sales and activity reports are maintained and updated when necessary
  • Initiates and consistently updates Management on performance and present progress reports on weekly meetings with Management

Qualifications/Requirements

  • More than five year's experience of the same capacity in a freight forwarding environment
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or, Sales & Marketing or Communications
  • With excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Solid organizational skills with extremely high attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Highly analytical, solutions-oriented and goal-focused
  • Preferably with Driver's License
