Job Description

  • Assists and support the Accounting Head in analyzing accounting data and monitoring processes as generated in the system
  • Gather documents and verify authenticity of transactions prior to recording.
  • Maintain accounts receivable schedule to ensure aging is up to date.
  • Verify and reconcile collections and carefully apply payments to the right customer account.
  • Identify overdue regularly and politely communicate or follow up slow-paying customers regarding past due accounts.
  • Streamline and improve the accounts receivable process to support the company in optimizing our financial transactions.
  • Exercise integrity and confidentiality on each account.
  • Responds to all customer enquiries regarding aging balances.
  • Do cash count and prepare daily sales report.
  • Coordinate with other departments who might need assistance.
  • Performs related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned and requested by immediate superior or by the management.

Qualifications/Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration major in Management Accounting, Financial Management, Commerce or any business-related courses
  • Experience in Billing, Credit and Sales Collection or Accounts Receivable is an advantage
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities with great initiative, will-do and can-do attitude.
  • Possess good analytical skill, keen observation and judgment
  • Trustworthy and able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Honest, disciplined, organized and has a positive and mature outlook.
  • Flexible, assertive, independent, highly motivated and can work under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Can start immediately
