About the role
Guill-Bern Corporation is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This full-time role will be responsible for managing and maintaining the accounts receivable processes to ensure the timely collection of payments from our customers.

What you'll be doing
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding customer invoices and payments to minimise late or non-payments
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledgers, identify discrepancies, and resolve billing issues
  • Analyse customer credit history, set appropriate credit limits, and make recommendations on customer credit terms
  • Prepare and send statements, invoices, and other payment-related correspondence to customers
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all accounts receivable transactions
  • Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to address any customer queries or concerns
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end accounts receivable close processes
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the accounts receivable function

Qualifications/Requirements

What we're looking for
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts receivable or credit control
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving approach
  • Familiarity with credit management principles and debt collection procedures
  • Relevant accounting qualifications or certifications would be an advantage
