JOB SUMMARY:
He/she will be responsible for overseeing and managing accounting team, ensuring financial reports and statements are delivered on time.
He/she will analyze, write, and follow legal requirements as part of his/her accounting manager role. He/she will also recommend improvements to the company’s processes.
To ensure that companies fulfill their obligations, he/she prepare accounts according to accounting regulations and within established deadlines. They also analyze, audit, track, record, and implement systems for financial reporting.
Duties:
• Oversees and manages the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
• Helps with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
• Assesses current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
• Prepares, reviews, and analyzes financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Performs ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
• Supervises and/or manage general ledger accounting functions
• Develops staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
• Works with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
