The Accounting Manager oversees the daily accounting operations of the organization, ensuring the accurate recording of financial transactions and compliance with accounting principles. They are responsible for managing accountants and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. Additionally, they are accountable for the growth and development of each team member while establishing project management, client engagement and retention, and critical thinking skills.
Technical skills
- Oversee and perform high-level or one-off review of tasks, including but not limited to Invoicing, Bills, Payroll, Financials, and Ad hoc tasks, effectively and efficiently.
- Understand and analyze efficiency and profitability per engagement and provide recommendations.
- Review out-of-scope recommendations from Seniors and coordinate with the sales team for proposal creation.
- Support Senior Accountants with technical accounting issues.
- Ability to jump to critical situations to regain clients' trust and confidence.
- Ability to collaborate with different departments.
- Implement improvements and changes in process workflow and documentation, as well as other operations-related improvements.
- Oversee operations and have the ability to know and understand concerns and inquiries.
- Perform tax return preparation and compliance.
