JR. ACCOUNTANT
Duties and Responsibilities:
a. Prepare and analyze financial, cost and accounting statements to determine performance and render appropriate records thereof, in accordance with the PFRS, COA issuances, and requirements of oversight agencies;
b. Assist in managing/maintaining specific books of accounts;
c. Interpret accounts and examines records, vouchers and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions before settlement;
d. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports and schedules for management analysis and decision making and for compliance with statutory requirements and requirement of various government agencies;
e. Analyze and reconcile assigned accounts;
f. Assists in addressing the COA audit observations/recommendations and BIR documentary requirements/assessments;
g. Review, examine and validate business contracts and other related documents in connection with the financial statements;
h. Process various disbursements and examine/validate the related transaction documents in compliance with the existing government rules and regulations;
i. Determine applicable taxes, implement tax remittances, and monitor the creditable withholding taxes vis-à-vis the BIR forms 2307 issued by the clients;
j. Perform other related functions as may be assigned from time to time.
