Job Responsibilities/Description:
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions (e.g., sales, expenses, assets, liabilities).
Prepare and update accounting journals, ledgers, and other financial documentation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Generate reports to assist in the analysis of company performance and financial health.
Ensure that the company is compliant with Philippine tax laws (BIR – Bureau of Internal Revenue).
Knowledgeable in tax returns such as VAT, income tax, withholding tax, and other related filings.
Monitor changes in tax regulations and implement necessary updates.
Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Assist in audits and prepare supporting documentation for external auditors.
