Job Description

VA-ACCOUNTANTING

Responsibilities:
Prepare Weekly Amazon Report
Amazon Accounting
Invoice Customers

Purchase Orders:
Create Purchase Orders in QuickBooks using Performance Invoices
Process wire entries upon approval
Track deposits and vendor payments upon wire approval and match wires to payments
Reconcile Credit Cards
Manage Accounts Payable

Inventory Management:
Receive items when in transit
Receive items into warehouse and track locations in QuickBooks
Reconcile inventory monthly
Monthly Bank Reconciliation
Item Creation
Initially as a result of a Purchase Order
Establish a formal item creation process
Accounts Receivable
Track due dates
Send initial late payment message
Other Accounting Functions
Close books at month-end
Vendor Setup and maintenance

Qualifications:
Accounting degree with a thorough understanding of GAAP
Knowledge in Amazon accounting
Good English communication skills
QuickBooks certification is a plus (but not required)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience with databases
Work Schedule: Sunday to Thursday (Night shift)
