Zamboanga Peninsula Medical Center, Inc. initially began life as a pediatric hospital under the name Zamboanga Children’s Hospital Incorporated just before the turn of the millennium, in 1999. The hospital quickly became one of the Zamboanga City’s premiere pediatric care centers. Increasing demands in the area of general medical care, however, drove the board of directors to consider expanding the hospital’s medical services to include all medical supplies. Thus, Zamboanga Peninsula Medical Center, Incorporated was born officially beginning its operation on August 20, 2014. The hospital currently employs over 450 personnel and with a bed capacity of 110.
