The WeCare Labor Service Cooperative Immediate benefits that a member will accrue in being a member of the program are the provision of affordable living conditions on site – in terms of accommodation and daily food sustenance. These benefits will have a multiplier effect not only on the workers but on their families as well. Savings that will accrue to each worker will augment the amount of income that each member will be bringing home to their family.
Another immediate impact that each member will be enjoyed is the character that each member will be developing i.e. discipline in terms of self-development. This can be demonstrated directly by having each member contribute to the membership fund religiously through their salary.
Membership in the cooperative program would also make them automatically members of the government social security programs – Accidental Insurance SSS, PhilHealth, ECC and PagIbig.
