History

Transparent BPO was founded in 2009 to provide its clients with superior contact center services and business process outsourcing at competitive pricing. Our state-of-the-art system development and IT support mean we can deliver seamless integration with your brand, providing a transparent relationship between our contact center and Client.

Our founder, Scott Newman, also saw a troubling trend - massive consolidation among outsourced customer care providers. Large, global corporations with thousands of agents spread throughout countless time zones continued to acquire smaller, midsized customer care providers. These large providers were bound to rigid processes that lacked innovation because changes required multiple layers of approval and coordination. Newman knew that this model wasn’t sustainable long term. With the popularity and rapid adoption of social media, customers now demand answers in real-time versus at the provider’s convenience. The brands they interacted with had to be flexible and responsive. That’s when Newman decided to establish the solution—a mid-sized BPO that could develop true partnerships with clients while providing flexibility and innovation daily. With that mission in mind, he established Transparent BPO in 2009 to provide clients with superior contact center services, producing consistent, exceptional results at competitive pricing and with 100% transparency. The company now has employees and offices across Belize (1600 employees), the Philippines (800 employees, with an office opening Q3 2023), Jamaica (fully launched Summer 2023 with a capacity of up to 1500), and the U.S. (30 employees).

Transparent BPO’s business model has resonated well with its customers over the years, resulting in steady year-over-year growth and long client relationships, many since we began our operation in 2009. Our growth has also landed TBPO on the Inc.5000 America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies eight times, seven years in a row (2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and again in 2022).

Understanding that our people are the backbone of our business, Transparent BPO maintains a strong focus on human resources, from our senior managers who remain engaged throughout the relationship to our agents who represent the TBPO name and your brand. We invest heavily in training and professional development, along with sound processes and procedures to ensure excellent service delivery.
