TOYOTA DAVAO CITY, INC., is a corporation with an authorized capitalization of P100-million duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in May 1994 and has since been represented by its principal stockholder Jose A. Lim III, now a businessman of over 40 years in Davao City.
It was granted a dealership franchise of TOYOTA MOTOR PHILIPPINES CORPORATION on February 28, 1995 serving Region XI as its Primary Market Area with a complete dealership facility located at Km. 6 Lanang, Davao City.
In 2008, it opened TOYOTA GENERAL SANTOS as a separate Toyota franchise dealership, thus, allowing it to cover Region XII while retaining focus on Region XI as the biggest growth area in Mindanao.
In 2013, it opened TD CATITIPAN, a 56-vehicle capacity Body and Paint Facility where it also maintains a 200-brand new vehicle stockyard. It also opened TOYOTA TAGUM CITY strengthening its hold of the rest of Region XI.
In 2015, it opened two outlets in Davao City and another in Kidapawan City.
In 2016, it opened two outlets in Koronadal City and Cotabato City.
In 2017, it opened METRO GENSAN BP CENTER located at Polomolok, General Santos City to accommodate the increasing Body and Paint jobs of Toyota Gensan, expanded our TDC BP CENTER as a reception facility in Catitipan, TOYOTA MATINA, DAVAO to reach out to more customers in southern Davao, and TOYOTA KIDAPAWAN CITY to capture our market in the areas of North Cotabato.
Collectively, the group currently employs over 1,000 Team Members who continuously undergo trainings to improve their competencies, and projects to sell more than 6,000 Toyota vehicles as well as service more than 60,000 units annually from 2016 and onward. The group is also a recipient of various awards from Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation and continues to hold dominant shares of market in the regions.
