Tosoh Polyvin Corporation (TPC), is a domestic corporation based in Special Economic Zone, LIMA Technology Center, Lipa City, Batangas. The primary purpose of the company id to engage in the manufacture of polyvinyl chloride compounds (PVC compounds) for various uses such as for building wires, automotive wires, tubes, refrigerator gaskets and other products that use PVC compounds.
TPC was founded through a joint venture agreement between Tosoh Corporation, one of Japan's leading global chemical manufacturers with strong international reputation in the vinyl chain business; Plas-Tech Corporation, one of the largest PVC compounders in Japan and TPC's technology provider; Mitsubishi Corporation, one of Japan's leading global trading companies which also trades TPC's finished goods and raw materials; Mabuhay Vinyl Corporation, the first and largest chlor-alcali producer in the Philippines; and Brightnote Assets Corporation, a company formed to invest in equity and quasi-equity unlisted private companies.
