TAGUIBO AQUATECH SOLUTIONS CORPORATION (TASC) is a Special Purpose Company (SPC) specially created to undertake the Water Supply Development and Water Treat Service Project wtih Butuan City Water District (BCWD). The Projectis meant to solve the water supply problem of Butuan City and is Public-Private Partnership venture under the legal framework of the 2008 NEDA Guidelines and Procedures for Entering into Joint Venture Partnership between Government Entity and Private Sector Participants.
The Project was conceived by Twinpeak Hydro Resources Corporation (THRC) in partnership with Equi Parco Construction Company (EPCC), acting as an unincorporated joint venture consortium. THRC and EPCC also engaged consultants and other technical experts and partners to assist them in the concept, design and execution of the Project. In compliance with the NEDA JV Guidelines, THRC-EPCC submitted and unsolicited proposal relating to the Project to the BCWD on 12 December 2011 with the aim of increasing BCWD's supply of potable water to its cutomer from 20 MLD to 60-80 MLD.
In the implementation of the contract with BCWD, THRC, and EPCC incorporated TASC as the vehicle to implement the Project TASC was registered in the Securities and Exchange Commission under Registration No. CS201329072 on 04 April 2013.TASC and BCWD then executive the Water Supply Development and Water Treatment Service Agreement.
