In response to the need for a holistic shopping experience, SM opened the first SM Hypermarket branch in 2001, SM Hypermarket Sucat.
SM Hypermarket is a combination of a department store and a grocery store rolled into one providing shoppers with a holistic shopping experience that’s complete, convenient, and budget friendly.
To date, SM Hypermarket has a total of 53 stores with a majority located in Metro Manila and the rest in North Luzon, South Luzon, and Visayas. With groceries, clothes, appliances, furniture, and more, SM Hypermarket’s tagline, “Happy to Serve” best sums up the company’s enthusiasm in delivering everything shoppers need all under one roof.
