Sta. Maria Food Co., Inc. (SMFCI), a company based in Sta. Clara, Sta. Maria, Bulacan is engaged in manufacturing, retailing and distributing food products here in Bulacan. Its main office is located at Tindalo St., Sta. Clara, Sta. Maria, Bulacan. It is owned and operated by Engr. Efren M. Martinez and his spouse Mrs. May G. Martinez.

SMFCI is the sole franchisee of Dunkin’ Donuts in the province of Bulacan and has been in the business since 1990. It offers wide varieties of donuts and bakery products and delicious bunwiches that match well with any hot or cold beverages.

At present, there are 33 outlets located all over the province . The design of each outlet is patterned to the standard set by Golden Donuts, Inc., the Philippine Franchisee of Dunkin’ Donuts.

Freshly - made donuts, munchkins and other baked goodies are being manufactured at Bulacan Central Kitchen; the production center of Sta. Maria Food Co., Inc. Over – all operation is being handled by its General Manager and Operations Manager. Productions of donuts is being managed and supervised by the production manager and four production supervisors.

 The entire operation of the sales department is being headed by six area managers and thirty – three (33) shop supervisors while the marketing manager is responsible in the conceptualization and execution of both local and national promotions. This hardworking and creative management team ensures that only unique and freshly- made donuts and snack products are served to thousands coffee and donuts lovers in Bulacan and other nearby provinces. Providing Quality Customer Service is also on top of the list.

 The success of Sta. Maria Food Co., Inc. can be attributed to the strict implementation of the Basic Philosophy of Dunkin’ Donuts; the Quality, Service and Cleanliness (QSC). Newly hired counterpersons and production crews are required to attend the nine-day Road To Excellence (RTE) training being held at our training centers. This is to insure that they will religiously follow the standards reflected in the Standard Operation Manual (SOM) from Golden Donuts, Inc. (GDI). In the same manner, Customer Satisfaction Guide being conducted monthly by quality control and franchise services to guarantee that QSC is maintained in all outlets that operate at all times. Aside from RTE, SMFCI also provides its employees with different training and seminars for their professional and personal growth.

 Dunkin’ Donuts- Bulacan is not only concentrating in producing quality food products. It is also geared towards the development of the talent and skills of Batang Bulakenyo. After sixteen long years of operation the team launched the Bata Batuta Club; a club exclusively designed for the children of Bulacan. It aims to support and foster God – centeredness among children aimed at the continuing development of their talent and skills. Monthly activities are being conducted for the club members including the Search for Little Mr. And Ms. Dunkin’ Donuts – Bulacan 2004 and 2005 which were both held in the Event Center of SM City – Marilao.

Presently, Dunkin’ Donuts – Bulacan Franchise focuses in the execution of numerous local and national marketing activities aimed in the promotion of goodwill among its loyal customers. It is also affianced in fulfilling its corporate social responsibility believing that relationship marketing is the key to success at this point in time where competition in the food industry is very stretched tight.
