St. Anthony Mother and Child Hospital (SAMCH) is a 100 – authorized bed capacity, Level 1 specialty hospital of the Department of Health catering obstetrics, gynecologic and pediatric cases. Formerly an extension of Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center ( VSMMC) maternity unit in 1991 but independent under RA No. 7830 authored by Congressman AntonioV. Cuenco in 1994, and through RA 11189 dated January 10, 2019 the hospital was mandated to increased bed capacity to 200 beds. PHIC Accredited as Center of Quality, member Philippine Hospital Association, a Mother –Baby Friendly Hospital, Family Planning Center in the Visayas, a Newborn Screening Excellence Awardee for the last three years, A Red- Orchid Hall of Famer Awardee, an ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015 Certified by TUV-SUD PSB Philippines.
