RED DRAGON FARM was formally founded by its current President and Chief Executive Officer, DR. ROBERT HUI LO, a dedicated veterinarian, professional manager and visionary entrepreneur, and it has been in commercial poultry operation in Pampanga since 1988. Over the years, it has grown and currently operates fourteen (14) poultry grower farms wherein some are already using tunnel ventilation system.
The swine business unit started in the Year 1998, under the trade name E-PIG with integrated breeding, farrowing and fattening operations in five (5) farms located in Pampanga and Tarlac using the latest technology in swine farming.
In the Year 2000, the feed milling operation under the trade name LODESTAR FEED MILL & VETERINARY PRODUCTS has started producing feeds to cover the requirements of the poultry and swine business units. The possibility of going into commercial feed mill and veterinary formulation operation is being considered to maximize capacity utilization.
RDF MEATSHOP, INC. (RDFMI) was established in April 2005, specifically to lead and manage the group’s venture into meats production and retailing operating under the trade names FRESH OPTIONS MEATSHOP, FRESH OPTIONS XPRESS, MEATS & MATCH and ROBERTO’S COFFEE.
Since the opening of the first outlet in Angeles City, Pampanga on April 1, 2005, FRESH OPTIONS MEATSHOP® has rapidly expanded in terms of number (with more than 80 stand-alone outlets and presence in local and major supermarkets like Waltermart, Super 8, etc.) and geographical scope (Pampanga, Bataan, Bulacan, Olongapo City, Zambales, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Mega Manila, Cavite and Laguna) and still growing – a testament to the strong and loyal patronage of our customers in the neighborhoods and communities where we operate. Products sold include fresh and chilled beef, chicken and pork meats as well as marinated meats, processed meats and ready-to-eat cooked foods.
By the first quarter of 2012, we came up with the FRESH OPTIONS XPRESS®, a junior version of Fresh Options Meatshop, where we sell the same high quality meat products. To date, there are more than 40 outlets in operation located in various commercial areas in Central Luzon, South Luzon and Mega Manila
Aside from retailing, we also cater to institutional selling and some of our clients are Holiday Inn, Anvaya Cove, Ocean Adventure, Subic International Hotel, North Park, Gerry’s Grill, Café France, Plato Wraps, etc.
Because of its success in meats retailing, the company is now venturing into the cooked food business via its aptly named MEATS & MATCH® outlets. These stores feature a wide variety of sumptuous meals that are grilled, fried and roasted to perfection using only the high quality meat ofFresh Options Meatshop. Currently, we have one stand-alone store / kiosk in Angeles City, three (3) full dine-in restaurants in Clarkfield, Pampanga, City of San Fernando, Pampanga and Balanga City, Bataan and we will soon be putting up another two stores in Guagua, Pampangaand Iba, Zambales within this year.
Currently, the company is now venturing into the coffee shop business under the name ROBERTO’S®. Our first Threestores opened last February 2015in Balanga, Bataan, September 2015 at SM City Clark (Pampanga) and October 2015 in Guagua, Pampangaand we will soon be opening our nextstore in Iba, Zambales.
