GBS is our internal service delivery organization which has consciously evolved and expanded from Philip Morris Business Solutions (PMBS)/Integrated Business Services (IBS). GBS is increasingly relevant in today's complex business context with multi-category business operations and geographic expansion into the U.S., while cost and margin pressure remain high. GBS will directly support the PMI Compass strategies through end-to-end process simplification, decreasing cost-to-serve and improving the quality of internal service delivery, allowing the business to focus on revenue growth.
GBS currently manages and supports services across Finance, Commercial and P&C, encompassing over 3,000 employees:
Directly through Finance Solutions, Customer & Consumer Solutions (CCS), Project Management Services (PMS), Change Management Services and GBS Enabling Capabilities,
And indirectly through the cross-functional governance of Process & Experience Delivery (P&ED).
